Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong-born actor and martial artist who has starred in over 200 films since the start of his career in the early 60’s. He’s also a well-known philanthropist and all around good guy – the internet doesn’t have anything to tease him about, but he’s still found his way into memes.
His Best Fight Scenes
An image of Jackie Chan holding his head in confusion became associated with the “my mind is full of fuck” meme back in 2009 – it has been used as a reaction image, showing confusion or anger about a certain subject. A black and white print of the original confused image was later used in “rage face” comics, showing crudely drawn stick figures reacting to everyday scenarios.
Jackie Chan memes may be old, but they’re still gold. Here are a few of the best:
1. When the taxi driver goes the wrong way
This is a pretty good example of Jackie Chan as the “my mind is full of fuck” meme. When the taxi driver starts going the wrong way, and you don’t know why.
2. Jackie Chan as a helicopter
Here’s a more obscure example of the “my mind is full of fuck” image – in this one, Jackie Chan’s face is superimposed over a helicopter, for no particular reason.
3. Teachers told me no one’s perfect
The Jackie Chan reaction meme has been pretty popular with younger internet users, because of its innocent nature. In this meme from Facebook, the poster is confused about the way teachers treat them in school.
4. Jackie Chan as the most interesting man in the world
This meme is based on a commercial for Dos Equis beer, which featured “the most interesting man in the world”. In this image, Jackie Chan is mimicking his famous pose and quote – it’s an ode to his unbeatable toughness.
5. Name 10 things that aren’t Jackie Chan
“Name things that aren’t Jackie Chan” was a game circulating around online forums like 4Chan and Reddit back in the early 2010’s. This comic is a clear example of how the game works.
6. Guys posing as girls
Here’s an example of the original image used in the “my mind is full of fuck” Jackie Chan meme. The Facebook user who posted it is clearly befuddled by certain lifestyles.
7. Rage comic featuring confused Jackie Chan
The “rage faces” originated in the early years of 4Chan to highlight everyday comedy. The confused Jackie Chan image is often added to the end of the comics as a summary reaction image, like in this comic about potatoes.
8. My brain is full of fuck
Here’s the original “mind full of fuck” Jackie Chan image. This would generally be posted as a comment in an online forum (Reddit or 4Chan, and eventually Facebook) as a reaction to a stupid thing another user posted.
9. The many faces of Jackie Chan
This simple panel of Jackie Chan’s expressions was posted on Facebook a few years ago. It might be used today as a “mood board”.

Facebook users have been known to circulate a “false celebrity death” meme from time to time. This one is meant to give the reader a mini heart attack before they read the whole thing.
14. Jackie Chan in the Drake format
This meme format featuring rapper Drake is meant to show two different versions of the same thing. This one is about Jackie Chan’s habit of using a lot of furniture in his action stunts.

Starter Pack Version
There is a bunch of different versions that we found including the confused face, the WTF meme, the what face, the birthday surprise, the I don’t want any trouble, and the Bad Day meme.
Here is a starter pack version of the neem that you found over on Reddit. It includes some iconic images that good-naturedly poke fun at this celebrity martial artist. They include his trademark black and white Asian tunic, pictures of chairs and Ladders because he is famous for using everyday objects as weapons in his movies. There’s also a bit of text on the image that reads “please, I don’t want trouble”.
This refers to his tendency to try not to get into fights. The premise that a lot of his movies is that tough guys come up and challenge him without realizing what an amazing fighter he is.
Characteristically he always tries to defuse violence but if he is provoked and pushed too far he will begin swinging around Ladders and Chairs and destroying all the bad guys.
Over in the wholesome memes subreddit, someone took a screenshot obey redditor who Expressed amazement that Jackie Chan is such a deadly fighter in martial artist but is so amazingly adorable at the same time. Someone compared him to a river honor. They said that they had heard that these animals have a lot of time to play and be adorable because they are such brutally effective hunters that they are never hungry. One redditor said that he had succeeded in sussing out and amazing Niche for himself where martial arts meets slapstick comedy.
This being Reddit, some people were quick to point out some of his personal flaws. One redditor even said that Jackie Chan had disowned his own daughter because she is a homosexual.
He also alleges that he is a spokesman for the Chinese Communist Party.
Another Redditor chimed in 9 months ago saying that in his biography that Jackie Chan had admitted to a lot of dark and somewhat nefarious things.
In particular, he says that the biography talks about visiting prostitutes, squandering tons of money mama and that the moral of it seemed to be that he had struggled a lot coming to terms with who he is as a person.
In another subreddit, there is an in-depth discussion from a Chinese redditor from Hong Kong who talked about how differently Jackie Chan is viewed at home as opposed to in the West. One redditor was surprised to hear that he is compared to Charlie Sheen in the East. You also gets compared to Michael Jordan – both of them are legends in their respective fields but have reputations as arrogant and difficult people, as well as being highly self-centered.
Post Malone Song
There’s even a funny Jackie Chan / Post Malone ‘coll
A Redditor posted a video of Jackie Chan getting surprised by his original stunt team that he hasn’t seen in 30 years. While Reddit spends a lot of time criticizing this martial arts superstar for his political beliefs, how he’s treated his children and his attitude toward others on movie sets, this Reddit posting is definitely on the more positive side of things
One person said it would have been incredibly awkward at Jackie Chan have started impugning some of the stunt crew before you realize that they are actually standing behind him.
While most people said it was an emotional video to watch, seeing him get reunited with old friends, another person said it was one of the most contrived things he’s ever seen.
However, the further down we scrolled in this discussion, eventually we found a link to a unpopular opinion subreddit discussion that discusses his movie persona and the man who’s really behind the cinematic celebrity.
One person said that he seems like the sort of person that you should admire from a distance. Because if you get to close to him you may encounter some severely disagreeable aspects to his personality.
There’s definitely a lot of conflict online about Jackie Chan. On the one hand, he is loved by a lesion of movie and martial arts fans, on the other he is vilified by a lot of people for all of the different reasons we’ve outlined in this section.
The Jackie Chan meme originated on 4Chan back in the early days of the internet. These days, it’s pretty universally recognized. You’ll most commonly see it on Instagram and Facebook as a reaction image to something confusing or frustrating. It may be old, but it’s still funny.
